Settled in, nice & cozy

We're toasty warm & enjoying the quiet...the weather has calmed down nicely.

It's a blustery day in the hundred acre wood

We made it to the bustling metropolis of Twin Falls, ID and were able to find a pizza & salad bar that wasn't too bad. (It was about the only place open Sunday night)

There was a GIGANTIC thunderstorm in the area when we drive in. The weather has calmed down now but it was really going there for a while. A real "gully washer".

We did have a covered wagon reserved just for the experience but because of the weather we upgraded to a little cabin for the same price. The covered wagon is for warmer weather.

We found a great viewpoint over a canyon that we are going to share with you tomorrow.

Heading to Anderson Camp

Idaho brought the REAL rain. Pretty soon we got some breaks and blue skies, but not for long. I took pics of the ominous skies but they're through the car windows & with my phone, so they're marginal at best.

Liquid Sunshine

We are at Emmigant Springs state park and we are waiting for a break in the rain so we can pack up.

We had our morning drinks and I had a nice shower in the facilities. Now we are killing time. Trish is online and Lexa has a bone.

Weather report for Anderson Camp is dry so we can get the wet stuff dried out.

Next stop, La Grande for gas and breakfast.

Might be time for a third cup …

Sunday morning

The forecast was spot on....the rain started at 2 am. Anthony was a dear and went out, built a fire and made coffee while I stayed snuggled up in my sleeping bag. ❤️ Then he brought it to me in bed.
