Introduction

This is our Photo blog for our 2016 road trip. Instead of taking the Harley this year we will be taking our Jeep so we can bring our German Shepherd Lexa.

Our plans are:

 Day 1 - Emigrant Springs

 Day 2 - Anderson Camp Where we will be staying in a covered wagon

Days 3, 4, 5 & 6 - West Yellowstone KOA where we have a basic cabin for 4 nights.
We are planning a day trip up to the Beartooth Highway which is one of the highest paved roads in North America at 10,947' above sea level. To put that in perspective, Mt Saint Helens is 8,366 feet, Mt Jefferson is 10,495' and Mt Hood is 11,250'




Day 7 we will be staying somewhere around Twin Falls ID, probably at a Motel 6 or something.

Days 8 & 9 will be unwinding at Crystal Crane Hot Springs outside of Burns.

After that we have a couple of days at home and then we fly out to Toronto to visit my Mom.
